Visual Hallucinations

<CareOP> Hi!

<CareOP> I went to the wrong room!

<Guest1> Hi everybody-Guest1 here

<CareOP> Hi Guest1!

<Guest1> Everybody makes mistakes :)

<Guest1> Hi

<CareOP> I am having one of those "seizure" feelings tonight - scary!

<Guest1> Oh boy, that is scary. What are the feelings?

<CareOP> Guest1 do you have any strange seizure like feelings?

<CareOP> well very apprenhensive

<CareOP> then difficulty swallowing

<Guest1> Difficulty swallowing?

<SpringOP> hi Guest1! I was putting in my eye drops, nearlly forgot them

<CareOP> I almost feel like I will have a seizure!

<SpringOP> hey care!

<CareOP> I am afraid!

<CareOP> eeks!

<Guest1> Hey, Hang in there!

<CareOP> feel bad tonight

<CareOP> :o]

<Guest1> Sometimes excitement can do that

<SpringOP> we will hold you hand, care

<CareOP> I will I feel so scared and alone tonight

<Guest1> We

<CareOP> :o]

<Guest1> We're here.

<CareOP> thanks- you will make me cry!

<CareOP> I wish you really could!

<Guest1> Oh now, I didn't think I looked that bad!

<SpringOP> ok, put your head between you legs, breath slow....and then come up for air!

<CareOP> :o]

<CareOP> I got up and walked and breathed deeply

<Guest1> :) me too

<Guest1> Does the computer bother you?

<CareOP> I really am afraid I will have a genuine seizure!

<CareOP> no all these feeling happen late afternoon or nightime

<Guest1> You might try darkening your screen so its not so bright

<SpringOP> when is your doc visit? it is in May, right?

<SpringOP> that is a good point, sometimes bright light in the eyes can cause things

<CareOP> you think that might help

<SpringOP> maybe the refresh rate of your screen is affecting you

<Guest1> Yes, It bothers me that way

<CareOP> I wish they had done another MRI

<CareOP> It began before I was on the computer

<Guest1> My kids think I'm a hermit with the lights low most of the time

<CareOP> hurt your eyes Guest1?

<Guest1> do you have auras?

<CareOP> yes

<Guest1> What are they like?

<SpringOP> maybe you just need dark mysterious sunglasses, Guest1

<CareOP> My neuro said they are "partial seizures"

<CareOP> auditory hallucinations

<Guest1> Yes, some people do better with sunglasses

<SpringOP> yes, please describe the auras. I am sure they are not like my migraine auras

<CareOP> olefactory hallucinations

<Guest1> auditory - like what?

<CareOP> and the wierd sensation that begins in the chest and goes upward

<Guest1> Olefactory hallucinations - I get those

<CareOP> somethmes bright flashes of light

<Guest1> Yes, bright flashes - I have those too

<CareOP> hearing voices growling dogs eeks! music

<CareOP> when do yours happen Guest1?

<Guest1> Mostly when I

<SpringOP> I have had some bright flashes but theygo away as quickly as they come, are yours like that?

<Guest1> (stuttered) Mostly when I am tired or have been under florescents (work) a long time

<CareOP> the one I had the other night was very bright and heard voices!

<Guest1> Mine seem to be pretty steady sometimes, but I can distract myself from them

<CareOP> I am glad I'm not nuts - my neuro said they were partial seizures and Neurontin will help

<SpringOP> sounds like it can confuse you with reality at tomes?

<CareOP> yep

<Guest1> What do you smell ?

<SpringOP> how do you distract yourself, Guest1?

<CareOP> but you realize that it is not real\burning rubber

<CareOP> I try to think of something else

<Guest1> I keep thinking is smell urine or amonia

<Guest1> dont laugh too hard.

<CareOP> at night when I begin to fall asleep that is when most of them occur

<CareOP> ha!

<Guest1> Yes, that's when I notice things more too - at night. sure sign I should have gone to bed earlier

<CareOP> I did smell chocolate chip cookies baking the other night - went upstairs - no cookies! :o[

<Guest1> LOL cookies!! That 's nice!!

<CareOP> when do u go to the neuro Guest1?

<CareOP> Hi Guest2!

<SpringOP> that sure is a nice dream, cookies!

<Guest2> Hello

<Guest1> Went Thursday.

<CareOP> sure was!

<CareOP> what did he say?

<Guest1> She was very nice, supportive.

<CareOP> good! any help for the neuropathy Guest1?

<SpringOP> do you see mostly the neuro or a rheumy?

<Guest1> Not yet. More tests. EEK

<SpringOP> yikes, what kind of tests now?

<CareOP> what did she order Guest1?

<Guest2> Is this a limited channel? Not sure what Dutch MS is... unless it is a person with MS from the Netherlands. I do understand Sjögren's.

<Guest1> Scheduled for another MRI, EMG.

<SpringOP> This is for Dutch MSers as you describe, on WEd and Thurs, but tonight, we are all yours!

<SpringOP> Sjogren's Caht

<Guest2> Oh

<Guest2> ok

<CareOP> when do u have the Guest1?

<Guest1> Join us

<Guest2> ok

<Guest2> Bu I do not have Sjögren's

<CareOP> Do you have Sjogren's Guest2?

<Guest2> MS

<SpringOP> but it matters not, the topic, you can chat about anything that concerns you Guest2

<Guest2> ok

<CareOP> U R welcome to stay Guest2!

<CareOP> I am a possible MS too!

<Guest1> Lots of people with MS also have Sjogrens symptoms

<CareOP> we are talking about MRI and seizure disorders right now

<SpringOP> there is an MS Chat in 45 minutes in #MSWorld room

<CareOP> thats right Guest1!

<Guest2> I see

<SpringOP> but you can stay here if you like

<CareOP> Guest1 when are your tests?

<Guest1> I have the EMG next week and an EGD also.

<CareOP> EGD - what is that?

<Guest1> Ive been having trouble swallowing

<CareOP> me too Guest1!

<Guest2> I have a problem swallowing dry foods at times too.

<CareOP> Guest1 have you had a brain MRI before?

<CareOP> me too Guest2

<Guest1> Yes, last year due to the auras and some visual limits that werent good

<CareOP> gee Guest1 you have them too - the auras?

<CareOP> Guest1 what are your auras like?

<Guest1> zig-zaggy lines of bright white like lightening stricks

<CareOP> really? wow

<CareOP> I had something like that once - 2 days ago with a voice

<Guest1> Boy, I didn't know that about the color. Maybe that is what was bothering you Care

<CareOP> Guest1 your sounds like migraine auras?

<Guest1> Yes, without the migraine

<CareOP> Maybe the lights in the basement are flouresent - is that bad?

<Guest1> Never had a serious headache

<Guest2> You heard a voice in addition to a visual disturbance???

<CareOP> my son had that once Guest1 - the xig zags - lost sight for about a half hour

<CareOP> yep

<Guest2> Umm.. is this new?

<CareOP> scary - MS people can have that too

<CareOP> yes it is

<Guest2> If it was me, I'd call my neuro right away.

<Guest1> Yes, its no wonder were with the MS line

<CareOP> at least I know that I am not crazy - my neuro assured me of that! lil

<Guest1> Good for the neuro-

<CareOP> my neuro knows

<Guest2> Good

<SpringOP> Guest1, my Dad gets the aura and no migraine now, he outgrew the pain part. I can hardly wait till I outgrow my migraines

<CareOP> :o]

<CareOP> I don't know what I would do without him!

<Guest2> Never heard of auditory "hallucinations" associated with MS

<Guest1> Hes a good support

<Guest1> I have heard of olfactory hallucinations tho

<Guest2> But it can be be a serious symptom of something else. What did the voice say to you?

<CareOP> these "seizures" can happen when lesions are in the frontal or temporal cortex

<Guest2> Just curious?

<SpringOP> good question, what did it say?

<CareOP> no didn't understand what was said - occured raopidly when I was falling asleep

<CareOP> ha!

<CareOP> don't know!

<Guest2> Just as you were faling asleep?

<CareOP> yes

<Guest2> Then how do you know it wasn't a dream?

<Guest1> You know Ive experienced some real tremors at times, sort of worried me

<CareOP> it can be the first sign of epilepsy

<CareOP> like what Guest1?

<SpringOP> I "jerk" when I am falling to sleep. I doubt that has anything to do with seizures.

<CareOP> me too Spring

<Guest1> Its probably good that we have neuro's on board

<Guest2> Leg jerks/kicks?

<SpringOP> no doubt

<CareOP> yes

<CareOP> right Guest1

<Guest1> Lots of people experience leg jerks

<SpringOP> leg, arms, sometimes it is a whole bady jerk. lol

<Guest2> I get those from time to time too.

<CareOP> sometimes my arms also

<Guest2> Just my legs

<Guest1> I just went for a few minutes to my butterfly garden- could hardly walk

<CareOP> why Guest1?

<Guest1> Sometimes the legs just dont want to work

<SpringOP> <---has a butterfly garden too!

<Guest1> Wonderful

<Guest3> Ifinally got it right

<CareOP> like Balance Guest1?

<CareOP> yay Guest3!

<Guest1> Yes, off balance. Stairs can be frightful

<SpringOP> Welcome to Sjogren's Chat, Guest3

<CareOP> have to watch your feet and hold on Guest1!

<Guest2> Spring, what do you use to chat?

<Guest3> Hello everyone

<SpringOP> so, does everyone in here have fatigue trouble?

<Guest1> Yes, thats the idea -

<SpringOP> mIRC usually

<Guest2> Thanks

<CareOP> yes mam!

<Guest1> Big Time fatique

<Guest3> yes

<SpringOP> what do you all do for it?

<CareOP> body feels like it is encased in cement!

<Guest2> But is that mIRC now? I am getting no response from any of my CTCP queries to your client.

<CareOP> rest is the only thing that helps

<SpringOP> kind of like being drugged, CareOP?

<CareOP> yes

<Guest1> The strange thin g is that even with the "cement" syndrome, it can be hard to sleep

<SpringOP> yes it is Guest2. I am using mIRC

<Guest3> lots of rest

<CareOP> that's the way I feel tonight

<CareOP> yes Guest1 I understnad - thake anything to help sleep?

<Guest1> I find myself just "vegin out" to rest a lot

<Guest2> I take Dexedrine Spansules for my fatigue. I want to try Provigil, but my neuro is concerned that my insurance won't cover it due to the cost.

<CareOP> I rest in front of the computer and sit on a heating pad to help the pain

<SpringOP> that is wha tI do a lot, veg out! Zone out, whatever you want to call it

<CareOP> I hear Provigil is good

<Guest2> Dex is the only reason I have been able to keep a job.

<SpringOP> do those work for you Guest2?

<Guest1> Sometimes just a warm shower helps, other times I can take Dex

<CareOP> what is Dex?

<Guest2> Spansules are time-released. Gradual increase and decrease.

<Guest2> Dexedrine

<Guest1> AFter all the tests are done, I expect that some of my meds will change

<CareOP> a stimulant?

<Guest2> It is an amphetamine.

<CareOP> still have leg pain Guest1?

<Guest2> Usually given for ADHD

<CareOP> yep I take cylert - helps with attention also

<CareOP> yep mine too Guest2

<Guest1> yes, but that has improved with the electric stim -

<CareOP> Guest3 U doing ok tonight?

<SpringOP> my son took ritalin for his ADD when he was young. anyone ever try that for fatigue?

<CareOP> you using trns Guest1?

<CareOP> Spring Cylert is similiar to Ritalin

<SpringOP> right now I just take naps or work through the fatigue.

<Guest1> Yes, I inherited one from my deceased mother-in=law bless her

<CareOP> good!

<SpringOP> I know but it is chemically different anwyay, that is why I asked

<Guest2> My neuro does not like to use Cylert anymore due to concerns about hepatic impairment. I also take Avonex which can also cause hepatic impairment.

<CareOP> I still have one - maybe I'll charge it up!

<CareOP> Guest2 I even asked about the Liver problem

<SpringOP> yes, I have heard that Cylert is not good and my neuro would not put me on it after another doc suggested it

<Guest1> I just use it now when the ache seems to be on the rise

<CareOP> I had drug induced hepatitis

<CareOP> due to Tegretol they are keeping me on cylert

<Guest1> Oh boy, thats not good CareOP

<CareOP> sure wasn't!

<Guest1> You were taking Tegretool for ?

<Guest2> You had hepatitis and are on Cylert? How often do you get your blood work done?

<SpringOP> do you take Cylert did you say Care? even though you had the liver problem?

<CareOP> says study did not apply - much highher dose in children cause the problem

<CareOP> yep

<Guest1> Do they watch the labs

<Guest2> I see

<CareOP> my PCP does Guest1

<Guest1> Thats good.

<Guest1> It seems that we can get on a bunch of stuff and it adds up

<CareOP> yep sure does - cost does too!

<Guest1> Ouch!

<SpringOP> yes, and I worry aabout that, taking too many things, you just cannot sort it out what is affecting what other things

<Guest2> LOL... I/we know waaaaay too much about medicine for people who don't work in medicine.

<Guest2> People with MS I mean

<CareOP> my neuro is going to help me try to get Neurontin at a reduced cost - 210 a month for it

<CareOP> me too Guest2! lol!

<Guest1> Double ouch! I had no clue it was like that

<CareOP> me too Spring

<CareOP> yep

<CareOP> no Rx coverage eeks!

<Guest1> We better make sure we contact our congressmen about the medical coverage for chronic illnesses

<Guest2> Gotta be a medical expert to care for yourself in this day of HMOs and managed-care.

<CareOP> so all the other neuros say no cylert - strange...

<Guest1> Dont even mention those! I deal with them daily!

<CareOP> yes sir Guest2! U got it right!

<CareOP> yep Guest1 - a pain in the butt! :o]

<Guest1> Sometimes I get accused of being one of them- That hurts

<CareOP> Guest2 - you have any pain?

<Guest2> I'm voting Democrat in any future election until something is done about the for-profit medical establishment. Republicans have let me down too many times.

<CareOP> gee Guest1 sorry!

<CareOP> something needs to be done Guest2!

<Guest1> Thats okay - I let them know I'm the one with the white hat

<Guest2> I only have occassional pain and I get from spasms and a few dysathesias

<CareOP> :o[ good girl Guest1!

<Guest1> Guest2-where the pain?

<CareOP> that's good Guest2 - no chronic pain! :o]

<Guest2> Haha

<Guest2> Yeah

<Guest2> It's a "mild case"... kinda like a mild case of epilepsy though. Mild or not, it sucks.

<CareOP> I feel "huggy" tonight! lol

<CareOP> eeks don't say that word epilepsy!!!! ha!

<Guest1> Is everyone feeling better?

<CareOP> yes thanks Guest1, Spring and Guest2!

<Guest1> Great?

<SpringOP> <--still having awful dry eye troubles. other than that, I feel goood!

<CareOP> not great! ha!

<Guest1> Opps - finger slipped

<Guest2> I have gotten a stabbing pain in my right foot and. of course, I get the usual neck and back muscle spasms which hurt after a while too.

<SpringOP> how about you Guest1?

<Guest2> And spams in my calves.

<CareOP> mine were dry today too teared up and burned - just one eye

<Guest1> Yes, thanks all -

<SpringOP> <---mild MS too. thank goodness. and it is not misbehaving at this time

<CareOP> like fibromyalgia Guest2?

<Guest2> But actually, I am very relieved to be awake and about this evening. Very different from last night. Tis good.

<SpringOP> glad to hear it Guest2

<Guest1> My spases are small ones, but nuicenses (sp)

<CareOP> Guest2d U ever have the tight band sensation?

<Guest2> I dunno about the fibromyalgia Care. I haven't really looked into it much lately.

<CareOP> well it just means muscles hurt - if you ask me!

<Guest2> I think I have had the tight band, but not in a while. I have heard that referred to as the "MS Hug" if that is what you mean? Around the chest?

<CareOP> fibromyalgia is a term used frequently

<Guest1> That seems to be a "given" with most of us at one time or other

<CareOP> yep I had it once

<SpringOP> not I

<CareOP> twice in ond day - then never again Guest2

<Guest1> Yes, me too - I thought I was having a heart attack

<CareOP> right Guest1 - me too!

<CareOP> how about U Guest2?

<Guest1> The old BP went WAY up

<SpringOP> I ahve not had a tight hug, but have had sharp pain when I breathe in, it happens in the middle of the night while sound asleep and it wakes me up

<CareOP> really Guest1 - U took the reading?

<CareOP> gee Spring - the sleep thing again!

<Guest2> Stinkin' disease. Mostly I am afraid of losing strength in my legs. Climbing stairs is something I no longer enjoy or feel confident about.

<Guest1> I was at work and it scared them - rushed me to ER

<SpringOP> same here Guest2

<CareOP> do u use a cane Guest2?

<CareOP> gee Guest1 - I was home but wondered about a heart attack but thought - no - just neuropathy

<Guest1> Guest2, I believe we were just mentioning stairclimbing before you came on

<Guest2> No, but sometimes I use a hiking staff when I am going to go for a long walk. It helps and keeps me from feeling like I will fall on my face if I lose my balance or strength.

<CareOP> yep difficult - I lean way forward going up - anyone else do that?

<CareOP> balance problema Guest2?

<Guest1> Yes, Guest2 those walks can seem a little like walking in a tunnel of endless steps

<Guest2> I once lost the ability to stand in an elevator just from the movement of it. It was going down.

<CareOP> yep spunds like balance Guest2

<Guest2> I dropped to the floor and held onto the hand rail.

<CareOP> ever feel vibrations that were not there - and floor moving?

<SpringOP> i feel that in my feet some times

<Guest1> I have neuropathy that makes me think the floor is wavy

<SpringOP> kaboom eh Guest2

<CareOP> like floor vibrating?

<CareOP> yep Guest1!

<SpringOP> one time I even thought it was an earthquake! lol

<CareOP> ha!

<Guest2> Never happened again, but occassionally I skid up agains a wall when I walking. Hard to tell if it's MS or one of the many (too many) medications I am on.

<CareOP> it does feel like that

<CareOP> yep Guest2 - me too

<Guest2> correction : against a wall when I'm walking.

<CareOP> what all do u talke Guest2?

<Guest1> Really - sorry I just tried the sound thing

<SpringOP> ah, that is so true Guest2 I move about and then suddenly lean into something, and I wonder and stop to think if I had any med that day, or what I might have eaten, or if I was in a hurry or just not paying attention. hard to decide at times. I know what you mean

<CareOP> that's ok Guest1 we love you anyway! lol!

<SpringOP> lol, I had my sound off, forgot!

<CareOP> gee spring sounds like my feelings too!

<Guest1> Yes, I feel like I am drunk at times - Darn no drink

<CareOP> yep!

<CareOP> and I can't drink! darn - miss as osccasional glass of wine

<Guest2> I dunno... meds: Lessee... Avonex, Dexedrine, Wellbutrin, Levsin, Baclofen, Androderm, Urocit-K, Uromag... and few others I think.

<SpringOP> just do not turn suddenly! especially around the stairs,. I find I grip the rail now, really make sure I have hold of it, in case my legs or balance gives out.

<CareOP> weel an impressive list Guest2!!!

<Guest1> Yes, it feels just like the legs will quit at any time

<SpringOP> Baclofen made me way sleepy Guest2

<CareOP> yep spring sounds familiar

<CareOP> I hated baclofen

<Guest2> I grip any bannister or rail I can find when on stairs.

<CareOP> couldn't even walk

<SpringOP> made me walk without stiffness, but too sleepy

<Guest1> Then again - sometimes walking can be not bad -

<Guest2> Baclofen made me sleepy at first, but I adjusted

<SpringOP> too high dose, billie

<CareOP> nope low dose just couldn't take it - was really sick at the time

<SpringOP> oh I c

<Guest2> They do have this new baclofen pump

<CareOP> that was in 1994 - worst year

<SpringOP> yes, that is a great thing for some folks

<CareOP> yep heard the pump is good

<Guest2> It uses a lot less baclofen because the medicine is delivered directly into your spinal fluid.

<CareOP> Guest1 - u like your new neuro? like close to her office?

<SpringOP> all I take now is my estrogen and Salagen tablets. I feel pretty good. Just rest when I need it, and go out and do fun things, and exercise 2 times in formal class

<Guest1> Now I feel better, one thing I havent tried yet

<CareOP> ha Guest1!

<Guest2> I think I will have to wait until I retire to rest when I need to.

<Guest1> Yes, the neuro is good - I think. Time will tell after all the testing is done

<CareOP> what all do u do in excerse class?

<Guest2> And that will take another 10-20 years of work (I hope).

<CareOP> right Guest1

<SpringOP> my husband retired early. and I only work my own home business. and it is really small, just enough to keep health insurance

<CareOP> U still working Guest2?

<Guest1> Your working Guest2?

<Guest2> Yes

<CareOP> what U do?

<CareOP> gee Guest1 are brains match tonight!

<Guest1> LOL

<Guest2> Still able to work 40 hours a week... well, with 8 weeks of sick and annual leave each year.

<CareOP> :o]

<CareOP> wow that better than I could do!

<Guest2> I am a counselor. But due to MS, I mostly work in prevention now.

<Guest1> I cant wait to retire - Only hope I make it without going on Disability first

<CareOP> counsel where?

<CareOP> hope so Guest1 - how soon to retire?

<Guest2> Had times when I could not keep my eyes open. Not good when you are working with a client. They think you are bored with them.

<Guest1> 4 years!!!!!!

<CareOP> wow!

<SpringOP> roflol at Guest2, borig his clients

<CareOP> you are a terrific person Guest2! Keep trying!

<Guest2> 4 years is good,

<SpringOP> that will go fast, 4 years, I should think

<Guest2> SO now I work with contractors for our agency and try to help them.

<CareOP> 4 years can fly Guest1 - just like you! lol

<Guest1> Yes, 4 years - theres a light at the end of the tunnel

<Guest1> Flapp flapp flapp

<SpringOP> hehehe

<CareOP> well do u all think this is a good time for sjs talks? not many are coming???

<Guest2> The good news, I can reschedule my appointments when I am not well, and they attribute it to the business.

<CareOP> Great!!!

<Guest1> Its a good wind down time for me, but dont know about others

<SpringOP> that sounds great to be able to do that, nice that they are so accomodating for you

<Guest2> They hafta be.

<CareOP> you work every day Guest1?

<Guest1> What do you think Guest2

<SpringOP> I suppose they do. But some folks do not get it to work that way.

<Guest2> It's a government agency. Governmental employers must make accomodations for disabilities.

<Guest1> Yes, every day - more than 8 hrs many days

<SpringOP> oh! so true

<CareOP> right Guest2!

<CareOP> it is the law

<CareOP> gee Guest1 how do u do it?

<CareOP> I couldn't!

<Guest2> Guest1: what do I think about what?

<Guest1> Well some days its touch and go

<CareOP> bet so!

<Guest1> The time for the chats

<CareOP> about the chat time Guest2

<CareOP> gee Guest1 again! lol

<Guest2> Ohhh... I need to be running along

<Guest1> This is too much Care

<SpringOP> roflol, we are talking about this time for our Sjogren's chat

<CareOP> glad you came Guest2!!!

<Guest2> Soam I

<CareOP> ha!

<Guest2> Nice to see you all again

<Guest2> TTFN!

<Guest1> Great Guest2 - come again

<SpringOP> nice to visit with you Guest2

<SpringOP> :-( I am slow typing tonight

<CareOP> well we three make a terrific group!

<Guest1> Sometimes the thougts come in spurts

<Guest1> Boy - One for the Gipper

<SpringOP> thoughts?

<CareOP> sometimes I cannot remember where the keys are!

<Guest1> LOL

<SpringOP> where's the any key?

<CareOP> I have occasionally forgottwen how to trun off my car! roflol!

<CareOP> on the keyboard - I look to type

<Guest1> Wow - I only forget where I am going

<CareOP> and I reverse letters while typing! ha!

<CareOP> ha!

<SpringOP> I sometime sforget how to turn on the headlights, one night after an MS meeting it took me a full 10 mins to figure it out

<SpringOP> scared me

<CareOP> ha! so it's not just me! thank goodness!!!

<Guest1> Yes, sometimes it takes some hard thinking to keep it goint

<SpringOP> nope not just you

<CareOP> I know Spring - it has scared me also - and no one understands,,,

<Guest1> Ever had to backup and start over?

<CareOP> I can't remember!!!

<SpringOP> don't talk back up with cars to me this week please

<Guest1> What is really bad is when Im talking to my boss and forget what were talking about

<CareOP> I have entered on the exit streets!!!!

<Guest1> Wow - thats a blupper Care

<SpringOP> I am glad I do not have a boss to report to, it would be very hard to appear having any kind of intellegence for any length of time

<Guest1> LOL LOL

<CareOP> yes Guest1 I do understnad -right in the middle of important conversations - blip....

<SpringOP> must be very frustrating for you Guest1

<CareOP> I am afraid I would be fired!

<Guest1> Oh - we need to be forgiving of ourselves, I think

<SpringOP> that is right, I agree Guest1

<Guest1> Not to worry about what the boss thinks - after all its just a job

<SpringOP> the forget part of the forgive and forget is the easy part

<CareOP> my neuro said I could be classified "disabeled" by my neurcognitive tests

<CareOP> I love your attitude Guest1!

<Guest1> I havent had one of those tests yet How long ago?

<CareOP> last year and 2 years before that

<SpringOP> how does that make you feel, Care, that you are sort of "useless" as far as the brain thinking etc?

<Guest1> Thanks - it helps to be able to talk things out

<CareOP> well I can be but at times I feel super intelligent

<CareOP> did test high intelligence - but brain does not work

<Guest1> Do either of you have creative hobbies?

<SpringOP> know what you mean, wish it were constant, used to be intelligent. now sporadically inteligent

<CareOP> yes and spring sure does!!!

<Guest1> I find that sometimes just being able to "do" something puts things in perspective

<CareOP> yes spring...

<SpringOP> I have taken up learning painting watercolors and I love it! how about you?

<CareOP> I have hobbies that I love

<CareOP> mine are crafts and computer stuff

<Guest1> I do a bunch of things =- only sort of good

<CareOP> me too Guest1 - spring is very artistic!!!

<SpringOP> bit I think it is whether you enjoy doing them, Guest1

<CareOP> right

<Guest1> Paint (both oil and watercolor), quilt, garden (when I can)

<CareOP> and I do!

<SpringOP> that is what is important

<CareOP> U paint too Guest1?

<CareOP> wow!

<Guest1> Yes, but havent had much time of late

<SpringOP> I only tired oil once, yikes! how did you learn? classes? lessons?

<CareOP> I love the things I do and my volunteer work too

<Guest1> What do you volunteer?

<CareOP> I volunteer for the National MS Society

<Guest1> Painting since I was a kid - both lessons and self

<CareOP> a support group leader

<CareOP> gee Guest1 - what do you paint?

<Guest1> I volunteer with the gardening

<CareOP> ha!
